December 2006: A Cleveland icon moves on.  Casey Coleman passed away and left many of us missing his pressence for the Browns game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Dec 3rd. The Browns pulled out a victory in overtime - perhaps with a little help from above.  Cleveland will miss Casey as we continue to dream of Superbowls and championships.

My Words: "I am so very thankful to be a part of edesigned.net. It allows me to connect with a variety of creative people such as fine artisits, designers, and photographers. The networking abilities of the web allow me to get inspired by so many mediums. It keeps me excited in the world of web and digital design."


Sketchpad: I now have two new designs in the works for the new edesigned.net. The first design is a two column layout that is similar to the present design. The second design in my opinion, strips away the clutter and allows for better control over the css layout. I have been looking at nucleus for the CMS I would like to use.

I have also tried my hand at purse making. My fingers still hurt, but it was for a good cause. The funky diva purse auction Saturday November 11th was pretty cool. many showed up to see touch and feel the different entries.  I learned alot about fabrics and techniques.  I also met some cool people. If you missed this year's event, be sure to check out next years because it looks like it will continue to grow.

Got Design Skillz?: Suprisingly as I grow more into the digital side of design, I find that good design is simple, minimal and timeless. Good design goes unnoticed because it's expected. Everything seemingly fits into place. Bad design focuses way too much on the detail of every element without unifying the whole - presenting a lack of focus on the important meesage or overall theme. Try your best to understand this when creating your next design project.
